Funai to release HDTVs with built-in Blu-ray players

Funai, maker of TVs for Sylvania, Symphonic and Emerson, is planning to release LCD TVs with built0in Blu-ray players. Known for their CRT TVs with built-in VCRs they have quite a bit of experience integrating movie players with TVs. They will most likely offer midsize as well as large screen TVs with the built-in Blu-ray players. Cable review saysspecific details have not been released but what is known is that their 42-inch LCD TV combo will be priced between $1,100 and $1,300. Not a bad price at all for an LCD and Blu-ray player.
