I couldn’t wait to learn to type when I first started to use computers. I loved to write stories but found it was cumbersome to try to jot them down out of my head. My mind simply raced at a speed the pencil couldn’t keep up with and a mind traffic jam ensued every time. When I learned to type this was my magical solution to getting information out of my head at a comparable speed to my thinking speed. I could just flow all of a sudden and I found solace in writing just for fun, or creating stories.
