Bamboo flooring is quite similar to hardwood flooring. The material is smooth and it fits together tongue-in-groove much like its wooden counterpart. This is a relatively new concept that is taking the home constructing world by storm. There is little wonder why bamboo floor products are so popular right now. What is interesting about this material is that it isn’t made of a tree-like substance at all. Bamboo is actually grass. Now many of us may be a little stumped as to how something consisting of grass could possibly be as beautiful and durable as hardwood flooring. Bamboo floor products are unique because they are made of a unique material.
