It is a sad day indeed when we cannot sit down together and find waste to energy solutions that will suite everyone. It is not as if we are trying to create world peace or form a one world religion. Instead, we are trying to insure that our children and our grandchildren have a safe and clean world to live in as they grow older. Better yet, we would like to create a better world for our great and great great grand children. We will not solve all of our problems overnight, but surely we can find at least one solution to move forward with until something better comes along.

I was one of those people who only read my bible when in church and in following along with the preacher. I found that if I went ahead even I just didn’t understand it. To me it felt like reading an algebra book where by I only understood what the teacher showed us how to do and how it worked. I found out however that there are several types of bible translations and Understanding Bible Translation Differences can make all the difference in the world. I discovered for the time being for example that the word for word translation baffled me where by the more dynamic equivalence versions are much easier to understand and once you get through that translation reading the harder formal equivalence versions/translations become a thousand times easier because you have a frame of reference!

The Black Temple is amazing

(Disclaimer: if you don’t play WoW this will probably sound like gibberish to you!)

My WoW guild made its first foray into the Black Temple tonight. The instance is incredibly beautiful — in particular they have really outdone themselves with the background music in this zone. We made it to the first boss, High Warlord Naj’entus, who is a giant naga with a sharp shell for a right hand. We used this najentus guide and made pretty good progress on him… still some problems with keeping the low hp players like the rogues alive, but another night or two and I think we’ll have him.
