Veterans of War

In our lifetime, there have been so many listed and unlisted wars that happened from various parts of the world. The World War I (WWI) is one of the most well known wars in history. Also called as the Great War and War to End All Wars, World War I has generated roughly 40 million casualties, both in civilians and military group. Those militaries that have survived the most chaotic time in humankind are called the veterans of war.
Since the World War I (WWI) happened from 1914 to 1918, almost all veterans were gone and have served their purpose in their corresponding countries. At present, the veterans of modern war are those who have participated in contemporary battles. These veterans are continuously receiving special recognitions and awards and great benefits such as financial help provided and granted by their own government.
