The “Finger Paint” Affect

By admin | August 22, 2008

I’m not graceful. And I have the once-broken toe, shattered glasses, and splintered plates to prove it.

But I never actually considered that I’d need to be graceful to uninstall or install printer inks. I was wrong.

Immediately after buying replacement ink for my printer, I read the instructions and tried to follow directions. My efforts looked nothing like the crisp, clean pictures on the instructions.

My desk looked like a six-year old child had finger painted across the blank papers. Each time I’d handled a cartridge, I’d gotten a different color of ink on my fingers and rubbed it on the paper.

Eventually I got everything up and running and did get better at changing inks. I did not become more graceful.
