Government Foreclosures (HUD Loans)

By admin | May 15, 2008

The United States government has a division called the Department of Housing and Urban Development. This department makes it possible for individuals who may otherwise have trouble securing a loan to to so. The government agrees to insure the loan so that lenders feel more comfortable closing it. They advocate the fact that people should only buy houses that they can afford. Sadly, this does not always happen, and some of the homes are foreclosed after just a few years. There are always lists of FHA foreclosed homes forsale. When foreclosures occur, the properties listed usually go to public auction. I have never personally attended one of these, but I hear that they can get pretty intense!
