The health effects of being exposed to the pollution or contamination by humans ecological exposures comprises environmental risk assessment. The steps in the risk assessment process are the hazard identification dose response assessment, exposure assessment and risk characterization. The steps require the collection of information and data and the use of mathematical models. A chemical or other product has to be analyzed before it is placed on the market shelf. The risk an assessment has become a part and parcel of this analysis or process of analysis. A successful Environmental Risk Assessment needs the implementation of many processes and procedures.
