Hybrid cars - are they worth it?

The sales outlook for hybrid vehicles in long term sales and demand is uncertain, especially for some of the yet to be introduced SUV hybrids. The analysts are not certain nor can they make an educated guess as to when the hybrid market will peak, but they are sure that the peak is not close at hand. A factor for the hesitation to predict is that hybrid manufacturers will be adding to the variety of US hybrids by 2009 and adding more within the next few years. If gas prices continue to inflate, more and more consumers might be tempted. Go run your car on water
