European Driving Myths

Americans have been bombarded by the media with images of Europeans driving around the U.K. in their right hand drive cars down the left side of the road. They have been exposed to this image so much that many of them believe driving on the left side of the road is the law across all of Europe and that only Americans drive on the right. The truth is, only one-third of the world’s driving population drives on the left. So, Americans, not only can you go to Europe and rent or buy a left hand drive car, in many countries such as France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, just to name a handful, you will drive on the right just like you do at home.
