Mythological tattoos

There are many tattoos which originated from ancient folklore who believed in fairies, elves, angels ,devils and what not.
Its kind of the whole fairy tales book open in front of you. These people really believed that fairies existed and that they should not anger these fairies otherwise bad things would happen, catastrophic events, accidents and sudden deaths would occur, diseases would spread.
I really dont know what to say about these beliefs, but I know that fairy tattoos, devil tattoos as well as other similar types of tattoos originated from these stories and beliefs. Some people still believe in fairies and try hard not to anger them.
And nowadays, its Walt Disney productions with their cartoon shows which are making people more and more interested in the mythological creatures and thus these tattoos.
Even though people dont really believe in these stories of fairies anymore, they just use the tattoos because they like it.
