If you want to get away from it all you should try one of the South Dakota family vacations. South Dakota is about as far away from “it” as one can get and they have many attractions to offer. You should take the time and explore the possibilities there. One thing though, you had best be ready to drive. South Dakota is a big state and not many places have an airport right next door, so the best way to see the state is by auto. Even if you fly in you are going to want to rent a car. Just make sure you get one with air conditioning in the summer.
